DailyTodo Privacy Policy

Privacy terms for a local-first, ad-supported product.

This Privacy Policy explains how DailyTodo, including the website at todoitgogogo.com and related mobile app experiences, collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information. DailyTodo is designed as a free product supported by advertising, so this policy covers both local task storage and advertising-related data practices.

Product scope DailyTodo is a planning product for Android users with task capture, priority management, schedule views, reminders, and advertising support.
Important notice about ads DailyTodo is positioned as an ad-supported product. Advertising tools or partners may process device identifiers, IP address, coarse or approximate location data, ad interaction data, or similar information where needed to serve, cap, measure, or personalize ads in accordance with applicable law and your choices.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to DailyTodo, the DailyTodo mobile application, the website located at todoitgogogo.com, and related support communications. If a third-party service, advertisement, or partner links to its own privacy notice, that separate notice may also apply.

DailyTodo is designed around a local-first model. That means core task content is intended to be stored on your device rather than in a mandatory user account. However, some information may still be processed when you contact us, visit the website, receive ads, or use any third-party services connected to the product.

Information We Collect

We may collect or process the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide directly. This includes information you send when you email us at shootermary0@gmail.com, such as your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments or support details you choose to share.
  • Task and planning data stored locally. DailyTodo may store task titles, list names, notes, dates, times, reminder settings, priority selections, and appearance preferences on your device so the product can function.
  • Device and technical information. Depending on how you access the Service, this may include device type, operating system version, app version, browser type, language, IP address, referral information, timestamps, and crash or diagnostic details.
  • Website cookies or similar technologies. The website or advertising components may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, or similar technologies to remember settings, measure traffic, prevent abuse, or support advertising.
  • Advertising-related data. If ads are shown, ad technologies may collect or infer data such as advertising identifiers, device identifiers, approximate location, ad impressions, clicks, session events, frequency capping data, and fraud-prevention signals.
Because DailyTodo does not require account creation for normal use, we do not ask users to create a username and password before they can start using the core planning features.

How We Use Information

We may use information for the following purposes:

  • to operate, maintain, and improve DailyTodo and the website;
  • to save tasks, reminders, schedule information, and user preferences on the device;
  • to respond to support requests, bug reports, privacy inquiries, and other messages;
  • to secure the Service, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, and protect users;
  • to show, measure, limit, or personalize advertising where allowed;
  • to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, policies, or rights.

Advertising and Ad Measurement

DailyTodo is a free, ad-supported product. Ads may appear in the app, on the website, or in related surfaces now or in future releases. To support those ads, we or our advertising partners may collect and process advertising-related information.

Advertising-related processing may include:

  • serving contextual or personalized ads;
  • measuring impressions, clicks, conversions, and campaign performance;
  • limiting how often the same ad appears;
  • detecting invalid traffic, spam, or fraud;
  • complying with regional consent and privacy requirements.

Advertising partners may include Google AdMob or another ad network selected by us in the future. If a specific ad provider is enabled in production, we should keep this policy updated to reflect the provider and its data practices.

Where required by law, consent tools or opt-out choices may be presented before personalized advertising is used. You may also be able to manage advertising preferences through your device settings, browser settings, cookie controls, or prompts presented inside the Service.

We do not state that your private task content is sold as part of the core planning experience. However, some jurisdictions may treat certain targeted advertising disclosures or identifier sharing as a "sale" or "sharing" under privacy law, and we will honor applicable notice and choice obligations where required.

Sharing of Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers and vendors. We may use hosting, email, analytics, security, or advertising providers to help operate the Service.
  • Advertising partners. Information relevant to ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency capping, reporting, or personalization may be shared with ad partners or their processors.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information where necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, or investigate abuse.
  • Business changes. If the Service is transferred, merged, sold, or reorganized, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Because DailyTodo is local-first, a substantial portion of core task content is intended to remain stored on the device rather than routinely shared to our own servers. That said, support emails, website activity, and advertising-related data may still involve third-party processing.

Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

  • Locally stored task content generally remains on your device until you edit or delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
  • Support emails and related correspondence may be kept for customer support, recordkeeping, and legal compliance.
  • Advertising and technical data may be retained by ad providers or service providers under their own retention policies and legal obligations.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to the processing of certain personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.

You may also be able to:

  • delete locally stored tasks and settings directly inside the app or by uninstalling the app;
  • disable notifications through device settings;
  • adjust cookie, browser, or advertising settings where available;
  • contact us at shootermary0@gmail.com to request help or exercise privacy rights.

We may need to verify a request before responding. Some rights may be limited by law, technical constraints, or the need to preserve security and fraud-prevention records.

Children's Privacy

DailyTodo is not intended for children under the age where parental consent is required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact shootermary0@gmail.com so we can review and take appropriate action.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you use the Service with that understanding. You should also protect your own device, operating system, and network access.

International Processing

The Service, our vendors, and our advertising partners may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we will rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, ad integrations, legal requirements, or operational updates. When we make material changes, we may update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice inside the Service or on the website.
